It is a good time to remember everything that your car should carry, perhaps you are planning a road trip, but that does not mean that we do not do it responsibly and prepare every detail so that the trip is optimal and fulfills its purpose.

One of them is to put the necessary tools in our trunk and check that everything works well before starting the car. We will tell you some tips about the first six tools that cannot be left out of our cars for any reason and among them we have screwdrivers, pliers, insulating tape, a lamp, a hydraulic jack and wrenches and ratchet wrenches.

1- Power cables

No one is exempt from the battery discharging at the worst moment, which prevents the car from starting. If you are on a slope and your car is standard, you will be very lucky, but if that is not the case and you are alone, the only thing you have left is to wait for a good Samaritan to help you by giving you a little energy from its battery.

2- Help signals

The ideal is to have reflective triangles that will help those passing by the place in two ways, first that they do not run over you and then that if someone is able to help you, they will do so. These signs can be the classic triangles that we know or there are even some that are luminous, that is, lamps with distress signals.

3- Allen keys

You already have the screwdrivers, but there are assembly parts or covers that cannot be opened except with allen keys, which are very easy to use and very, very small, so a good set will not take up any space and You will appreciate carrying these tools in your trunk.

4- Gloves and rags

Not only is it so that you don't get dirty, but because there are many opportunities in which you can hurt yourself with the materials that you will have to use, as for the gloves, which if they are made of leather or some non-slip material, it will be much better.

5- Cell phone

Another tool that will be very useful to you is, of course, carrying a cell phone with enough charge and signal, so you won't have to abandon your car in a deserted area to look for help.

6- Extinguisher

It is very important to have it on hand. In the past, cars came with it from the factory and it was under the passenger seat, now many brands sell it separately, which makes drivers ignore it and never buy it, but you never know when you may need it, whether for a problem. with your car or to help someone else.
